The Maltings is traditional stone built property which has been created from a former barn to Pitlessie House and dates back to the 1720s. The house is spacious and light with a large family dining kitchen, a lounge and a sitting room with vaulted ceilings. The house contains a range of original features.

opening onto the south facing private garden with timber decking and a lawn.
The lounge downstairs has an impressive double height ceiling with a mezzanine leading off to an en-suite bedroom, a further double bedroom with en-suite is located on the lower level off the lounge. The Sitting Room upstairs also has a full height vaulted ceiling with a solid fuel stove and multiple roof and side windows allowing natural light to flood in.
The master bedroom is located off the 1st floor sitting room and has a dressing room with an en-suite bathroom. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a "jack and jill" shower room located on the ground floor.
The house is set in a private courtyard shared with Pitlessie House, with parking for
multiple cars.
The Maltings has 5 bedrooms, 3 on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor, with accommodation for up to 10 adults. There is also a sofa bed bringing the maximum occupancy to 12.
At the South end of the house there is a twin room and a double room on the ground floor and a double room with a kingsize bed on the 1st floor.
At the North end of the house there is a double room on the ground floor and another on the 1st floor, both with kingsize beds.
All bedrooms have access to ensuite facilities.
There are two lounge areas at the Maltings. On the ground floor there is a double height lounge area with sofa seating for 12 and a large screen Smart TV. The TV has a range of popular streaming Apps, as well as a FreeSat Tuner. Wifi access is available throughout the property
The upstairs lounge has additional sofa seating and a games area.
The large kitchen/diner space on the ground floor leads directly into the ground floor lounge via a single step down. Kitchen facilities include an oven with grill, a microwave and an induction hob.
A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available for use, along with a drying racks.
At the rear of the house is a private garden area with decking. A barbecue is available for guest use. This garden is secured to make it suitable for children and dogs.
The Maltings is situated on the edge of the charming village of Pitlessie, approximately four miles to the south west of the Fife market town of Cupar. Pitlessie has a thriving village pub, The Pitlessie Village Inn, which is well known locally for its excellent food and friendly service. Cupar has a range of supermarkets and specialist shops as well as a number of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
From Pitlessie it’s easy to get to the cities of Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee - all are within a comfortable 45 minute drive.
Pitlessie is directly connected by Express Coach to Edinburgh (90 minutes), Dundee (40 minutes), St Andrews (30 minutes) and Glasgow (120 minutes).
The nearest railway stations are at Ladybank (1.5 miles) and Cupar (4 miles), both on the East Coast mainline.
